Mon, September 24, 2007 - 3:05 PMI was invited to Larkin's for a private (Brunch) party of about 25 people before they officially opened to the public. The food and service were fantastic! Larkin's was very accomodating to the good number of vegetarians in our party by making veg friendly gravy for the biscuits & gravy and offered us veg sausage, etc. I'd recommend checking it out. -

Tue, March 18, 2008 - 7:09 PMI wasn't a fan. The atmosphere and the service are nice, but the food was lacking. They call it contemporary southern, but I didn't find anything contemporary about it. Definately overpriced for what it is.

Sun, May 25, 2008 - 11:10 PMDon't know if there's on in Glendale, too, but the one in Eagle Rock is good, not *great* but good. The Service is excellent, the staff is considerate and warm, the interior is comfortable and inviting, and the food is satisfying and familiar. I didn't find the dishes to be exotic nor too varied, rather straightforward, but the sum of the experience makes it a favorite of mine when craving a home cooked meal without having to cook at home. ^0^
